Brown Trout Hotel

The Brown Trout has a combination of 3 star hotel rooms and five star cottage suites. The bedrooms are in a courtyard and are laid out in American style with two double beds; with an extra guest bed if required. All the rooms are very accessible for disabled quests. Room facilities include TV; iron; hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and a luxurious lounge overlooking the golf course. The hotel has a fully equipped gymnasium and a challenging golf course. There are conference facilities at the Brown Trout that can cater for up to 40 people. Equipment available includes overhead projectors and screens; flipcharts; remote controlled TV; VCR and slide projector. Fax and photocopying facilities are available at the hotel’s reception.

The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn is in Aghadowey. It is a 30 minute drive from Coleraine which has a good range of shopping and entertainment facilities.

The bar food at the Brown Trout is fresh and exciting. The restaurant has an elaborous menu which again focuses on excellent cooking. An excellent menu lunch is available every Sunday.

Visitors can walk around the walls; enjoying panoramic views of the town and surrounding countryside, Union Hall; the Tower Museum , the Causeway Coast is a must for all visitors to this area., Dunluce Castle, White Park Bay; there is a walk across the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. The Old Bushmills Distillery is close to the Giant’s Causeway and visitors can enjoy a fascinating tour which ends with a sampling session.

The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn is in Aghadowey; near Coleraine in County Londonderry; Northern Ireland. It is within a 30 minute drive of Derry Airport and Derry city which provides access to mainline train and bus services is just another 10 minutes further on.
